Barbeque Pulled Chicken Sandwhich

CrockPot Wednesday. Doesn’t really have a good ring with it but in my household this is reality. My husband works late so the last thing I want is to juggle a fussy baby hungry with a complex meal to make. So I choose CrockPot meals for Wednesday’s.

Here is what you need to make this super simple meal.

1lb of chicken

1 bottle of Salt Lick barbeque sauce

2 tbs of SeasonAll

1 cup of chicken broth

Udis hamburger buns

Mayor  ( I personally love Duke’s Mayo)
Place the first four ingredients into the CrockPot. ( Save a little of the sauce for later) Cook for 4-6 hours if the chicken is not frozen. If the chicken is frozen cook for 6-8 hours.

My CrockPot doesn’t have a temp setting, it just goes from high to low as the time progresses.

4 to 8 hours later…spread Mayo on the inside of the bun and toast it. Trust me, it is so much better this way. Place meat on the bun, add more barbeque sauce on top and dig in.

I like my red wines so I would pair this Sandwhich with a good Cabernet Sauvignon.
